Marion's production for the United States government includes truck bodies for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps built to exacting MIL specifications. We manufacture component bodies for these huge rough terrain vehicles and sell them to the truck prime contractor. These trucks have set all time records for durability at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. We are proud of the zero defect quality record of our trucks in the 336 hour salt spray test of the special CARC paint used to protect these trucks from infrared detection.
The electronics to power and control a Patriot missile system rides on a Marion military platform body. Other military bodies include features like folding walkramps, bench seating, removable sidewalls, missile launching pods, heavy-duty winches, and welding and repair equipment compartmentation.
